This policy explains what BookOurCab collects when you use www.bookourcab.com to search fares, book a cab or contact us, how that information is used, and the choices you have.

By booking a ride or contacting us, you agree to the handling of your information as described here.

We only ask for what is needed to arrange and complete a journey:

• Contact details — your name, mobile number and email address.
• Trip details — pickup and drop locations, travel date and time, trip type, cab type, and flight number where you give us one.
• Payment information — the advance you pay to confirm a booking is handled by our payment provider. We do not store your full card or UPI credentials.
• Messages — what you send us by WhatsApp, email, phone or the booking form.
• Basic technical data — pages visited and approximate location derived from your IP address, used to keep the site working and to understand which routes people look for.

• To confirm, schedule and complete your booking, and to share the necessary trip details with the assigned driver.
• To contact you about a booking — confirmation, driver details, changes or delays.
• To handle invoices, refunds and support requests.
• To improve routes, fares and the website itself.
• To meet legal, tax and safety obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

We share only what a party needs to do its job: the assigned driver receives your name, contact number and trip locations; our payment provider processes the advance; and our hosting and communication providers carry the data in transit. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.

Booking and billing records are retained for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Enquiries that do not lead to a booking are kept only as long as they are useful for follow-up, then deleted.

The site is served over HTTPS and access to booking records is restricted to staff who need it. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

The site uses cookies and similar browser storage to keep your session working and to measure traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; some parts of the booking flow may not work correctly if you do.

You can ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete information we are not legally required to retain. You can also ask us to stop sending promotional messages at any time.
